The Production Camp (cast) is for students who have completed 3rd-12th grade in 2025, the Tech Camp is for students who have completed grades 6-12 in 2025. More details below.
Dates & Times:
Mon.-Fri., 9-4 the weeks of June 9 & 16
Performances*: Sat. June 21 @ 7pm & Sun. June 22 @ 2pm, Cast Party to follow.
Camp and performances are located at the Estes Park High School Auditorium, 1600 Manford Ave.
Auditions are Saturday, March 29 from 9am-2pm. 1PM PARENT MEETING
Auditions Requirements:
Those interested in being in cast will need to:
—Prepare a Broadway song in the style of “Singin’ in the Rain” not to exceed 2 minutes. Bring a karaoke backing track or sheet music for piano. A bluetooth speaker will be provided, or you are welcome to bring your own. No a capella auditions, and no backgrounds with melody please!
—Monologue instructions will be forthcoming. You will be given a choice of several monologues and prepare one. Memorization is preferred but not required
—Bring a resume with a headshot style photo attached (like a school photo, photocopies are fine)
—Wear comfy clothes and shoes! Dance auditions will be held at that time and don’t require any advanced preparation. Tap shoes are NOT required for audition day. There will be a complimentary TAP WORKSHOP on Monday, May 5 (a no school day) at the EPHS Auditorium. We will have an additional tap workshop for anyone not able to attend on May 5, Saturday May 10 at the EPHS auditorium. Exact times TBA. Each actor will need to purchase a pair of tap shoes in time for the workshop day; affordable recommendations (in the $25-35 range) will be given at the Parent Meeting on Audition Day. You may apply for a scholarship to cover this cost-we do not want this additional expense to be a deterrent!
THIS IS A NO-CUT PRODUCTION. EVERYONE WHO AUDITIONS IS IN THE SHOW!
*Cast members are expected to be at BOTH performances. Any conflicts with any rehearsal time during our two week camp needs to be disclosed at auditions and may impact casting decisions.
