Arts extend beyond the Estes Park area
Art is not perfected in a vacuum. That’s just one of the reasons the Fine Arts Guild of the Rockies supports young adults from the community who want to pursue their arts interests by annually awarding scholarships for higher education.
Coordinated through Estes Park High School, each year a graduating senior interested in furthering their education in the arts - visual, performing, or any tangential type of art - is eligible for a $2,000 higher education award from the Fine Arts Guild of the Rockies. such as recipients who are pursuing English Arts/Journalism, interior design, graphic design, character development for graphics used in video games, film production and music performance. Any education degree associated with similar fields are considered appropriate for consideration as well.
The Guild also administers a $1,000 named award, the Lloyd Scott Memorial Scholarship that is awarded to any student pursuing a degree in music of any tangential type of music degree such as music education, music engineering and music recording.
Scholarship applications are collected through Estes Park High School each spring.
